Group Performance Marketing Executive

- Refined Brands

Refined Brands Group are digital pioneers of the ethical fashion movement, with a strong focus on natural, organic, and recycled materials, coupled with local design and manufacturing. Refined Brands Group began with Celtic and Co. in 2021, with Turtle Doves, Kettlewell Colours and Frugi joining the group in 2022.

Reporting to the Performance Marketing Manager, this role will be responsible for the following:

  • Support the Performance Marketing Manager across Paid Social, Paid Search and Display
  • Support with the analysis of campaign performance to ensure we are in line with KPIs and hitting our growth targets.
  • Assist with the development of our international Paid Search strategy (Search and Shopping) ensuring spend is optimised for ROI.
  • Optimise product titles in our shopping feeds.
  • Monitor customer journey to improve and streamline marketing efforts.
  • Keep track of stock levels and ad creative.
  • Work closely with our paid media agencies to drive performance across Google / Facebook.
  • Upload creative assets for our agencies to utilise.
  • Adopt a test and learn creative approach across all channels to drive performance.
  • Support with the launch of new advertising channels such as YouTube, Pinterest and Twitter and On Demand Tv.
  • Plan creative briefs for our design team whilst adhering to the brand guidelines.
  • Produce essential reports for data-driven decision making.
  • Develop a strong understanding of new product ranges and materials and how best to convey these to the customer.

You will also need to be comfortable working across all aspects of our team, as well as working closely with other departments in the business.

Ideally the candidate should possess:

  • Educated to degree level (or relevant experience).
  • Good numerical and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
  • Highly organised, methodical with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, prioritising and managing tasks.
  • Enthusiastic and passionate about performance marketing

About the Company:

The role is working as a multi brand role for Celtic & Co., Frugi & Turtle Doves.

Refined Brands is the leading digitally native portfolio of ethically sourced, natural and sustainable British brands. Built on the back of British heritage brands and high-quality local manufacturing, the Refined Brands group was incepted in February 2021 with the acquisition of Celtic & Co and expanded via the subsequent acquisitions of Turtle Doves, Frugi and Kettlewell Colours in 2022.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Act as the first point of contact for customers, clients and partner organisations, communicating effectively and efficiently with customers and colleagues in a professional, courteous and timely manner.
  • Answer a high volume of calls and maintain a rapid response rate to agreed standards, striving for high order value through link selling and customer rapport building, remaining calm and providing a professional response at all times.
  • Professionally respond to sales and customer queries using a problem solving approach to find solutions for customers, resolving complaints and queries as necessary. This will be achieved through: diffusing any difficult situations; responding to written communications in accordance with departmental standards, ensuring accurate information is provided and spelling & grammar is correct; where appropriate, recognising situations outside of your control passing these on correctly
  • Contact customers by letter, email and/or telephone in support of planned or unplanned promotions and audits or to increase sales figures as directed by the Manager or the Supervisor providing information to customers of current or special offers available.
  • Process orders and catalogue requests placed by telephone, email, & post in a timely & accurate manner.

Celtic & Co. has been creating timeless, sustainable clothing and footwear for over 30 years. We care greatly about our environment and community and this ethos flows through everything we do. We only ever use natural, sustainable materials, and keep our production miles to a minimum, sourcing mainly from Great Britain and manufacturing our sheepskin footwear and accessories by hand in our Cornish factory. We are a proud, British manufacturer with two sites located close together in Cornwall. Our factory is based in Newquay and our head office and warehouse are located in Indian Queens.

Role: To provide administrative support to the Merchandising team including running reports and analysing sales and stock figures. Work closely with the Senior Merchandiser and suppliers to maintain the flow of products required for the needs of the group businesses

Key accountabilities & responsibilities include:

Order Management

  • Support Senior Merchandiser with smooth ordering and delivery of stock in order to deliver planned sales
  • Decide on size breakdowns for Purchase orders taking into account current stock and historic size information
  • Organising the creation of Purchases Orders, in both excel and on internal systems
  • Ensure purchase orders are sent to suppliers in a timely manner
  • Confirm required delivery dates can be achieved with suppliers
  • Responsible for managing on-time stock deliveries from suppliers with regular liaising and updates on production progress
  • Where necessary liaise with 3rd party logistics companies
  • Tracking any over or under deliveries and confirm outstanding actions with suppliers
  • Keep systems and spreadsheets up to date with any delivery date or quantity changes
  • Set up and maintain excel delivery schedules for each season’s deliveries
  • Highlight any planned or unplanned changes to deliveries to Senior Merchandiser
  • Communicate delivery information such as packing lists to the warehouse

Backorder Management

  • Ongoing review of back orders, highlighting any additional orders that need placing with suppliers in order to fulfil
  • Ensuring that any issues to fulfilment due to either changes of delivery dates or QC fails are highlighted to customer service.
  • Review of back-order status by style, ensuring styles are set up to allow or deny back orders at the relevant times during the season

Trading

  • Support the Senior Merchandiser in producing relevant analysis to support business trading decisions and strategy, such as weekly sales reports, & stock availability.
  • Creation of price lists for items moving to the Clearance area on the website
  • Follow up on any Trading Actions as directed by the Senior Merchandiser

Catalogue

  • Provide support in the creation of catalogue analysis
  • Provide support in checking catalogues before going to print, for example prices, product codes and information

Product Data

  • Provide support to the product team in creation of SKU’s where required
  • Maintain SKU information on Merchandising Documents

Labels / Bags

  • Forecasting usage of labels by supplier
  • Picking and organising labels to be sent to suppliers
  • Ordering with manufacturer when required
  • Providing information to WH for ordering of Coat bags

Ad Hoc

  • Be the main point of contact for call centre and web regarding any stock issues
  • Carry out any reasonable additional tasks as requested to support the effective running of the business
  • Any other business as directed by management
