Handmade in Newquay, Cornwall, all of our shearling boots and slippers are crafted by hand in our workshop in Cornwall. We proudly support British farmers, transforming what would otherwise be considered waste into sustainable footwear.
Locally Sourced
Where possible we opt to support British manufacturing, with the majority of our products being made in Britain. With these suppliers being so close to home we have great relationships with them and can make sure that we always offer our customers the highest levels of quality.
British Shearling
We've been crafting shearling footwear in our Cornish workshops since 1990. We use 100% premium British shearling in our footwear, with a small amount coming from Europe for our trims, to create long lasting and sustainable footwear.

By working with other specialist producers, we can utilise their expertise and years of knowledge to provide our customer with top quality products, British made and designed to last a lifetime.
At Celtic we are passionate about the craft of hand-making our boots, slippers and flip-flops. We’re proud to say that the skins we use to manufacture our sheepskin footwear are from British sheep. Always a by-product of the UK farming industry which operates within the highest regulations for animal welfare, we choose the finest shearling, making our products both ethical and high quality. These skins would otherwise be considered waste and farmers would have to pay for their disposal so we are proud to support British farmers with our products.
Around 75% of our suppliers are British based, with the remainder sourced as close to home as possible from experts in their trade. We are always striving to give our customers superb products made from luxury natural yarns and fabrics, which offer excellent value for money. By working with other specialist producers we can utilise their expertise and years of knowledge to provide our customer with top quality, beautiful products that they will love and treasure for years.
