Job Purpose:
We’re seeking a talented Multi-Product Designer, to create beautifully crafted, sustainable womenswear across a wide range of categories, from soft separates through to structured outerwear. Inspired by our British heritage, we are looking for an innovative visionary to build from this and to help grow our brand. We are looking for a passionate, collaborative Designer to join the product team, who can navigate the ever-changing landscape of fashion.
Responsibilities:
Research and have a thorough knowledge of current trends.
Create seasonal theme boards and colour palettes that draw from our rich heritage of timeless designs, whilst evolving the brand to incorporate more contemporary and ageless inspiration.
Research both aspirational brands and competitors in the womenswear market, understanding our USP, whilst highlighting any missed opportunities.
Create comprehensive sourcing boards to send out to suppliers.
Build and manage fabric, trim and spec libraries.
Action samples in a timely manner, liaising with Suppliers to ensure that deadlines and the critical path are adhered to.
Manage the product from design development through to production, working closely with the product teams to mitigate any production and costing issues.
Build strong relationships with both long and short lead suppliers, pre-empting any challenges.
Travel nationally and internationally for both inspiration and development trips.
Present and communicate seasonal boards, colour palettes and designs to the wider team.
Work closely with the product teams and garment tech to fit the collections, ensuring that quality, fit and design are at the heart of every piece.
Key Skills and Experience:
Experienced in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and Indesign.
Experience of developing brand appropriate print, with an understanding of colourways, scale and technique.
Experience working across both short and long lead suppliers.
Able to create comprehensive technical packs for all product categories.
Have a good understanding of fit and garment construction, fabric and trims, with an understanding of quality and finish for higher priced garments.
Be able to manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and presentation skills
A minimum of at least 3 years’ experience in womenswear design.

Flexible working: 4 days in office, 1 at home.
Salary: £24,570 a year
Schedule: 8 hour shift

Role Overview:
- To champion on-site tasks, such as merchandising and customer journey, to ensure the website is always working as it should, and improvements are identified and followed through.
- Setting up product launches, promotions and discounts for new campaigns.
- Identifying relevant A/B tests, setting these up and implementing changes required whilst feeding back the findings to the relevant stakeholders.
- Manage developing marketplaces, uploading relevant stock and keeping up with the latest trends whilst meeting ongoing targets.
- Merchandising the website in line with weekly sales, bestsellers and campaigns.
- Raise support tickets with our suppliers where issues are found, monitor progress and see issues through to a satisfactory resolution.
- Assisting management with the launch of large development projects.
- Collate products onsite for shop the look/you may also like website functionality
- Lead regular customer journey checks across our websites with the ecommerce team and flag any issues with relevant teams.
- Undertake a weekly competitor review covering offers, promotions, advances in technology, etc, share findings with the ecommerce team and provide suggestions on how these learnings could be applied as improvements to the Celtic & Co. Group websites.
Marketing
- Liaising with the Marketing team to discuss and develop campaign ideas and create new content for the websites, ensuring that the content fits in with the marketing strategy.
- Develop a deep understanding of the core Celtic & Co. customers as well as any new target consumers. Conduct research to analyse customer behaviour, preferences, and trends in the market.
- Contribute new and innovative ways to drive the business forward and improve the customer journey on all channels.
Reporting
- Compile and analyse data from a range of systems and sources (Google Analytics, internal software) to create bespoke reporting, analysis, insight and actions.
- Assist with the completion of daily and weekly KPI reporting.
- Develop ad hoc reporting.
- Assess customer feedback to highlight improvements as part of the ongoing development of the website and execute these.
- Report on and analyse onsite search results with the aim to identify trends and see where improvements could be made and action.
