Job Description

Reporting to the Managing Director of Celtic & Co, you will be a key part of the marketing team, planning and delivering seasonal direct marketing campaigns in the UK and US markets for Celtic & Co, as well as supporting those of the senior leadership teams of our sister brands. Your responsibilities will include the strategic planning of up to £4m annual offline marketing budget. You will be data-driven as you work closely with the Head of Digital and our data planning agencies to optimise spend across online and offline channels. You will manage the end-to-end campaign management process of all direct mail campaigns.

Key accountabilities & responsibilities include:

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Working with the Group Head of Digital to agree seasonal marketing plans across the portfolio of brands, accurately attributing sales to each channel.
  • Responsibility for up to £4m offline marketing budget.
  • Working with the wider digital, marketing and creative teams of each brand to ensure consistency of seasonal stories and how they should be delivered across the marketing mix.
  • Working with the catalogue design teams to ensure deadlines for campaign timings are always met. Including ensuring any creative testing considerations are briefed in.
  • Supporting the creative and wider marketing teams with data-driven insights to improve the performance of the creative.
  • Working with data planning agencies to plan the execution of monthly catalogue and other direct mail campaigns to both customers and prospects in the UK and US and other emerging markets across the portfolio of brands.
  • Ensuring all direct marketing campaigns across the group are delivered to deadline, within budget.
  • Working closely with our data planning agencies to ensure we are testing and learning from each campaign who, when and what creative / offer to mail.
  • Analysing and reporting on campaign results and making future recommendations.
  • Briefing agencies and internal stakeholders on all campaign requirements and ensuring best in class campaign performance.
  • Negotiating best paper, print and fulfilment costs across all catalogue campaigns.
  • Managing key agency and suppliers in the campaign development process.
  • Managing all data processing requirements for campaigns including ensuring all customer mailing files are correctly uploaded to our business management system and supporting any GDPR requirements of processing customer data.
  • Compiling monthly board level updates of campaign performance.
  • Attending weekly trading meetings to update on campaign performance.
  • Line management will be required as the team grows in the future.

Required experience or skills:

  • Minimum of 5 years relevant data-driven international direct marketing campaign planning and delivery and data management experience.
  • Experience in planning and optimising marketing budgets across on and offline channels and understanding how best to attribute sales.
  • Experience of managing the process of end-to-end catalogue campaigns.
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent professional qualification in marketing
  • Management of agencies and campaign budgets.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Group Performance Marketing Executive

Salary up to £21,000 per annum

Reporting to the Performance Marketing Manager, this role will be responsible for the following:

  • Support the Performance Marketing Manager across Paid Social, Paid Search and Display.
  • Support with the analysis of campaign performance to ensure we are in line with KPIs and hitting our growth targets.
  • Assist with the development of our international Paid Search strategy (Search and Shopping) ensuring spend is optimised for ROI.
  • Optimise product titles in our shopping feeds.
  • Monitor customer journey to improve and streamline marketing efforts.
  • Keep track of stock levels and ad creative.
  • Work closely with our paid media agencies to drive performance across Google / Facebook.
  • Upload creative assets for our agencies to utilise.
  • Adopt a test and learn creative approach across all channels to drive performance.
  • Support with the launch of new advertising channels such as YouTube, Pinterest and Twitter and On Demand Tv.
  • Plan creative briefs for our design team whilst adhering to the brand guidelines.
  • Produce essential reports for data-driven decision making.
  • Develop a strong understanding of new product ranges and materials and how best to convey these to the customer.

You will also need to be comfortable working across all aspects of our team, as well as working closely with other departments in the business.

Ideally the candidate should possess:

  • Educated to degree level (or relevant experience).
  • Good numerical and analytical skills.

Job Description

Reporting to the Group Head of IT & Operations, the Digital & IT Project Manager is a key growth role in enabling the newly acquired brands to seamlessly integrate into the Group’s technical stack at pace, alongside managing projects for the existing brands.

Key accountabilities & responsibilities for the Digital & IT Project Manager:

  • Oversee all aspects of the projects including budgeting, sign off, planning, implementation, and testing to release.
  • Deliver these projects on time and on budget at pace.
  • Be the functional lead and a subject matter expert for the IT and Digital function within the Group, working with the business to ensure information is passed back to inform decisions.
  • Scope and define new business requirements and processes, identifying areas of improvement that can be implemented.
  • Align the Digital and IT teams, alongside external Developers to share any additional requirements needed from their teams and producing weekly status reporting for the board.
  • Deliver training to the wider team and provide input into group workshops.
  • Take responsibility for activities of your workstream and programme, ensuring the right priority is given to the work within your department.
  • Test existing systems and processes to identify improvements.
  • Have knowledge of project management tools e.g. Monday.com, Teams, Basecamp, Trello, Slack and more.

Skills and Experience

You’ll be a technically minded individual with deep knowledge of IT and ecommerce systems.

You will have the ability to join the dots and connect the full end to end customer experience.

You will have the skills to translate technical jargon to non-IT professionals at various levels including board executives.

You will have a portfolio of projects delivered on time and to budget across various elements of retail business

You will be eager to adopt and master our systems as the subject matter expert.

You will have the ability to deliver a best-in-class digital experience, ensuring all digital touchpoints offer a cohesive customer experience.

With experience working in a fast paced and changing environment, as part of a small knowledgeable team, you’ll be flexible, adaptable and able to successfully communicate across teams, taking responsibility and leading projects.

A natural problem solver with ability to root cause out issues and resolve promptly.
